What ISaidSorry is
ISaidSorry is a free tool that uses artificial intelligence to grade an apology you're planning to give, point out phrases that may undercut it, and suggest a rewrite. Everything it produces is generated automatically. AI can be wrong, miss context, or misread a situation, so treat its feedback as a suggestion, not a verdict on you or your relationship.
It's not professional advice
ISaidSorry is not therapy, counseling, mediation, or legal advice. It can't know how another person will react. For workplace, legal, or public statements with real consequences, consider getting advice from a qualified professional. If you're in crisis or feel unsafe, please reach out right away. Your words, your call
You decide whether, when, and how to apologize, and you're responsible for what you send or say. Read any rewrite carefully and change anything that isn't true or doesn't sound like you.
Use it kindly
You agree not to use ISaidSorry to:
- pressure, manipulate, guilt, harass, or threaten anyone;
- contact someone who has asked you not to contact them, or get around a block;
- do anything illegal, deceptive, or harmful;
- paste in someone else's sensitive personal details (like addresses, financial information, or private photos) that aren't needed to describe the situation;
- overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or get around the limits of the service.
Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use ISaidSorry. If you're under 18, please use it with a parent's or guardian's permission.
Availability and limits
ISaidSorry is offered free of charge. We limit how often it can be used to keep it running for everyone, and we may change, pause, or discontinue any part of it at any time.
No warranty
ISaidSorry is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that any apology will be accepted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ISaidSorry and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any outcome of your conversations or relationships, arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use ISaidSorry after an update means you accept the new Terms.

The short version: there are no accounts, we don't store what you type, we don't use cookies, ads, or trackers, and we don't sell anything about you.
What you type
When you ask for a grade, the apology, details, and choices you enter are sent to our server only to produce your result. Our server passes them to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude AI model that powers ISaidSorry, which processes them and sends back a response. We don't save that content on our server and we don't write it to our logs. Once your result is shown, we keep nothing.
Our AI provider
Anthropic processes what you send under its own commercial terms and privacy policy. You can read how Anthropic handles data at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Preventing abuse
To enforce usage limits, our server keeps a scrambled, one-way version of your IP address (a salted hash) along with the times of your recent requests. It isn't your actual IP address, it isn't connected to anything you typed, and we use it only to count recent requests.
Standard technical logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs, such as IP addresses, browser type, and the time a page was requested, for security and to keep the site running.
No third parties on the page
This page loads no outside fonts, scripts, analytics, or ads. Everything you see comes from our own server. The Copy button uses your browser's clipboard only when you click it.
Children
ISaidSorry isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
Because we don't store what you type, there's nothing saved for us to show you or delete. If you have a question about your privacy, contact us and we'll help.
Changes
If we add anything that changes how we handle information (for example, analytics or ads), we'll update this policy and the date at the top first.
